Hey all,
I am back in Johannesburg after an amazing week in Matat. There is so much going on in this little obscure section of South Africa that it is hard to explain. I visited three schools, several businesses,Lesotho, and we had services each night in the Matateile Full Gospel Church with Pastor Dennis King. We saw hundreds of young people respond to the Gospel as well as decisions each night in the worship services. There are those in our culture today who's existential beliefs dis-allow the work of God's supernatural Spirit in our time. They really believe it is up to what we can do in our time. Well, I want to tell you of Fani. He is a six year old boy who is doing well in school, plays soccer, has a great smile, and loves life. He stays at the Orphanage in Matat. When he came to the home he was a year old, with full blown Aids, had lesions on his body and even on the bottom of his feet. Today, after three complete blood test, he is completely HIV free. How you say? Well, there is only one explanation. A real and living God who still heals. Always? no, according to His purpose, but He is the same yesterday today and forever. I am off to Warmbath/Bela Bela tomorrow to be with our friends Jan and Erica Viljoen. I will preach at the Warmbaths Baptist Sunday morning, I will teach at the training center Monday and Tuesday, then head home for the USA and my family Wednesday. Here is a picture of the Church in Matat and the lovely B&B where I stayed thanks to Poly and John. Thanks for keeping up! Love you all, and remember, Live fast! Time is short!
