Hello all, it has been a great day in Sri Lanka. Not only has the
weather been perfect but the day was just amazing. Anura and his family
are the owners of not only one of the most impressive tea plantations I
have ever seen, but also of a family mining operation where they mine
for blue sapphire. We spent the day seeing some of the most beautiful tropical land in all of the world. It has been a great day of fun, food, family and discussing our differing faith. Anura and his family are Buddhist and God loving people. They have been amazing host to me. I am staying in a home they own just down the street from the home where they live. I wake each morning to a beautiful garden and my own coffee pot! Yea! I will send more in the days to come but here is a picture of where I stay, Anura and I at his house and a picture of the gem mining. Hey all stay tuned.
