Time flies when your having fun. The last few weeks have placed me in Pleasanton TX, Bells TX, and now Ft. Sumner, NM Your right the place where Billy the Kid is buried. We have had a great run this spring, spending time with choice people in each place. We saw several come to know Christ in Pleasanton and experienced some great services. I also got to go cat fishing while I was there and smelled my hands for the next three days! Ha Ha! The next week I was in the Heabron Baptist church in Bells. The pastor, Bro Houston Garner, and his wife have pastored the church for 45 years, been married 65 years, and he is 84 years old. What a testimony of consistency and stability. This week I am in a church where in some ways we got our start in 1991. When Debbie, Ashley, and I were in Ft. Sumner the last time, she was pregnant with our 16 year old daughter Kayla. We owned a single cab pick up with no a/c and that was our only form of transportation. While we were there, a family was led of God to give [yes give] us their family conversion van. We used it for years and traveled thousands of miles before giving it to a family who needed it years later. It is great to renew old friendships and see God working an incredible work here in eastern New Mexico. Well, next week east Texas then off for a while, but hey! It's baseball season and Garrett is having a break out year. Batting 750 with only one strikeout and one sacrifice bunt out in six games and 17 at bats! He is an amazing catcher and a fun personality. Truly an expression of the grace of God and a joy to cheer on!! Ashley will graduate from DBU in December!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? Go Ash! She is also leading in the praise team at Fielder Road. Kayla is a sophomore, leading in the youth praise team with her connect group, and moving through school as rapidly as possible!!!!! She is quite the little social person in the family. Where did these kids come from? I know, everyone knows they are the fruit of a great mother!!!!!!!! Go Deb!!! Well, enough nostalgia. Life is great, meeting people all over the world, and living life! Have to hurry. Life is short! David
