Back on line!!!!! In AZ!

Hi all, long time not speak. Sorry! I have been too busy to do a good job keeping up with you. Please forgive me. I am now in Arizona in a church that is so fulfilling to the ministry God has given us over the last 17 years. I will include a picture and more info later, but I am in a First Baptist Conservative Church in Quartzite, AZ with a pastor from Romania, his wife from the Philippines, a new baby from AZ. The pastor said to me yesterday," when we came here, our hearts desire was to be in an American church rather than relegated to a Romanian church in America." Wow, the church is growing, we had three adults saved yesterday, the average age is 73 years old, and the leadership is overwhelmingly Anglo. However, they have embraced change in leadership style, worship style, and in traditional methods, in order to reach an ever changing society. Wow, how fun! I will include a picture later.
Kayla turned 16 in January and is now driving! She had a great celebration, and the Lord provided her first car. Here is a picture of our Kaylarie!!!! She has grown into a beautiful, classy, Christian young lady!
I have been back to Venezuela since last posting. It was a privilege to lead an associational conference on creating a culture of giving in the church in order to reach the world hosted by Pastor Elias and the Amor de Dios Iglesia Bautista. It was an amazing time in the Lord as new and old believers alike embraced a purpose to give rather than take.
In addition, I was honored to lead in 2 State Evangelism Conferences during January and February. I was invited to lead a breakout session on cross culture evangelism during the first comeback Conference for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. The conference was a huge success, with powerful and innovative preaching, under the new leadership of Jon Randles. I was also honored to preach at the Conference of Texas Baptist Evangelist, during the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention evangelism Conference. I preached on the Engaging the whole world with a Unity of purpose, value, and sacrifice. This conference was also a huge success with amazing messages led by Don Cass. This message will soon be added to the blog in DVR form if you wish to view it.
Well, now I am on a month long tour away from my family. Today I am in Quartzite, AZ on Thursday will fly with Pastor John Neesly from, Houston, to Ethiopia, will fly to Dallas and arrive in Dallas the 1st of March and leave early the 2cnd with a team from our home church, Fielder Road, for China and will not return until the 12th of March. In addition, I am taking 9 hours, on-line, from Dallas Baptist University, in an attempt to complete my Bachelor Degree, started 28 years ago. Well, there is a summation. I like being active, but this is WOW! Hey life is short and you have to live it fast! Keep me in your prayers. I love you all.
David
