In Aruba on the way home

Hello from Aruba, I am on the way home and had to spend the night here to catch a flight back to the US tomorrow. Therefore, I am suffering in 85 degree heat, beautiful sunsets, looking over the Caribbean. Wow this suffering for Jesus is not too bad! Ha Ha. Just wanted you to know what a blessing the wedding of our Venezuelan son Tomas Heyliger was. Not only that but I was able to speak at his church, packed with family from all over the world, and share of faith in a loving Jesus. At the end of the service there were more than 20 people who raised their hand expressing a new found relationship to Christ. Among them was the new Father in Law of Tomas. This was truly just a blessing trip for me as I was able to see and spend time with friends from the past I rarely get to see. Here are three pictures. Mike and Jan Bennett, missionaries to Venezuela, Angelmir and Plyseth, our long time friends and interpreters, and the Couple sharing their vows. Hope you enjoy, can't wait to get home to my own tomorrow! Life is short, live fast!!!!!!!!!

  1. I don't know that I know you, but i know the people you are blogging about. I go to Hope Christian Fellowship, Mike and Jan's Nashville church. I was wanting to post your blog entry about tomas' wedding for the church. there are quite a few of us who love him as well as Mike, Jan, Angelmir and Plyseth. It is SUCH a SMALL world
