Preparation for Pakistan

Hey team, please forgive me for the infrequent blogs. I promise between now and the first of December I will update weekly and let you know how things are going for our Pakistan preparation. The team is now complete with myself, Jimmy Gault, Emmett Corker, Richard Green, and Gene Hansen. Some of you are aware that today was a tumultuous day in Pakistan. President Musharraf declared a state of emergency and took control of the radio and television stations. Many have asked me if we are still intending to go. My answer is yes if we are allowed. There is no doubt in my mind that this was ordained by God before I even lived. We have purchased 100 mp3 players to give away while we are there. They are loaded with messages for leaders and will be used for years to come. Is it safe? Does it matter? Gos did not promise safety, He only promised His presence. I have been in hundreds of unsafe situations in my life, but I ave never had to be there alone since I was 13 years old. We will not be alone here either. Please remember each of us and check up on us regularly as we prepare. I will be in Lake Dallas this week, Ft. Stockton next, and San Angelo just before Thanksgiving.
