This is the story of Robert Burk. Robert was a 16 year old young man who had been forced to leave school, was indentured to an elderly man and was socially and verbally stunted by his environment. I met Robert one night at a church service in Lemoru Kenya. Long story short, Robert made some great decisions that changed his life. First, Robert trusted his eternal future to the Lord Jesus Christ, secondly he decided to follow His leadership in place of his caretaker, thirdly he went back to school, became an active member of his AIC Church and is a helper in the children home where he stays. Since then, he has become the lead boy in his sixth grade class. [ 19 years old now but committed to graduate ] Robert has become an exciting articulate leader. He has begun his own business growing a nursery. He is a star runner on his track team. The Lord has truly given him a hope and a future. His life is a living testimony of the work of a living God. Wow, life is great and short! We have to live it!
