Mission Kenya in the Books

Hey friends, we are all home and mission accomplished. Only time and eternity will be able to tell all that happened this week, but what we could see was amazing. I was reading a proverb this morning and it said when you give to the poor you are lending to God. Well, it is true that you never give to God that He does not repay in huge dividends. This week we were able to see a congregation find a home in Lolkinyei Kenya. The words like amazing, miracle, unbelievable and act of God are so humbling when you hear them from the Kenyan brothers. However, we were in a culture who may work for 30 years to build a church building or a home or a store front. The idea of bidding, buying materials, and completing a project in one period of time is new to a culture who makes their own tools and uses them to manually create any construction project. However, the greatest miracle was the first service in the building was filled, people standing outside, and many responding to the message that God loves all sinners and wants a relationship with them. It was hard work, difficult living conditions and and a different kind of food but well worth it to all who participated. Wish I could do it with all of you. Here are some pics to check out and please let me know your out there. Don't be afraid to comment. I will write more later. See ya, Redeem your time, it's short! David
